Are your services really free?

Many of our core programs—including immigration assistance and social services walk-ins—are offered at no cost to community members. We aim to remove financial barriers so anyone in the Olney / 19120 area can get help.

Our services are available to residents of Philadelphia’s 19120 zip code and surrounding neighborhoods. You do not need to be Korean or speak Korean—our community is diverse, and we welcome everyone.

It depends on the service. Here’s a quick guide:

  • Immigration assistance: valid photo ID, any USCIS notices, proof of address, previous applications if available.

  • Affordable housing support: photo ID, proof of income (last 30–60 days), lease or housing correspondence, current address.

  • Social services walk-in: any benefit notices (SNAP, LIHEAP), ID, insurance/Medicaid letters if you have them.
If you’re unsure, call our intake line at (215) 276-8830 and we’ll guide you.

For many of our social services (benefits help, family referrals), walk-ins are welcome on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but we still recommend calling ahead for faster service. For immigration or housing services, we may schedule you for an intake visit depending on demand.

Our nonprofit is funded through a mix of government grants, private donations, and partnerships with local organizations. Because of this, we focus strictly on offering unbiased help—not sales. Our services remain no-cost and donation-optional, and all outcomes are geared toward supporting you, not pitching something.

No. While the organization was founded by a Korean American family and retains that legacy name, our services today serve all community members in the 19120 area. Our client base is broad and diverse—including Caribbean American immigrants, Black and Latino families, and more. If you have any question about eligibility, call us and we’ll clarify.
